About TWP Winery & Farmhouse

From Dream to Reality

TWP Winery & Farmhouse is the realization of a long-held dream shared by Shari and Edwin — to create a beautiful, welcoming space where people could gather, relax, and connect against the backdrop of Colorado’s rugged Western Slope. Inspired by their travels and their shared appreciation for hospitality, design, and landscape, the couple brought their vision to life in Grand Valley’s wine country.

The South African-inspired farmhouse (or plaashuis) that anchors TWP is a reflection of their personal histories and passions — a bold yet grounded space where modern lines meet rustic textures. Every corner of TWP tells a story, shaped by a love for natural beauty and a desire to offer guests something deeply personal and completely unforgettable.

Meet Shari

Shari’s journey started in the open spaces of Colorado but has taken her around the world — from the city lights of New York to the style-forward streets of Paris. A talented interior designer with a flair for mixing elegance and earthiness, Shari traded color stories and swatch books for a winemaker’s life, blending creativity with craft.

As a child, she designed dreamy Barbie interiors with gold-chain swings and hairspray-can furniture, laying the groundwork for a lifetime of imaginative hospitality. She’s a farm girl at heart, but never far from her lipstick or high heels. At TWP, Shari brings warmth, wit, and effortless style to everything she touches — from the design of the tasting room to the feel of a summer gathering under the stars.

Meet Edwin

Born and raised in South Africa, Edwin’s curiosity and creativity have taken him across the globe. With a background in architecture and a deep appreciation for beautiful form — whether in the silhouette of a Ducati motorcycle or a minimalist structure — Edwin brings a refined eye and a builder’s mind to TWP Winery & Farmhouse.

His approach to design is deeply personal, rooted in place, and always intentional. Every beam and brick at TWP carries his vision — one that balances structure with spontaneity. Edwin’s passion for community, craftsmanship, and great wine is felt throughout the property, where he’s just as likely to be found sharing stories with guests as refining the next project.
